wireless pcmcia not working

my wireless pcmcia card has stopped getting a dhcp address from my router all of a sudden. ndiswrapper still loads but it is unable to get a dhcp address. It used to 'just work', but now 'iwlist wlan0 scan' doesnt detect the router any more. I havent knowingly changed anything, does anyone know any reason why it could stop working like that?

Why it would just stop working? No.

Has any of the software been upgraded or changed? I know that there was a new build of hotplug recently - maybe this has affected something
