I could be wrong, but I belive that it is the applications that take advantage of it for saving your passwords. One example of this is gnome-vfs, instead of promping you for user name and passwords when browsing samba shares with nautilus, it uses the the gnome keyring to store your password. _________________ --- D-e-e |

How do view/delete passwords that have been saved? Is there a frontend for it (in portage?) |
