I found there is a bcm570x in portage tree. The description for the package is Driver for the Broadcom 570x-based gigabit cards (found on many mainboards). I have Broadcom 5702 card in my Dell D600, and currently it's working well with tg3 in kernel. So I am wondering if there is any advantage to use the new driver from broadcom (bcm570x) ?
