Questo è quello che la shellmiha risopsto dopo circa 15 min di compilazione del bootstrap..cosa significa???

e poi a ridare il bootstrap. Sembra che il pacchetto sia corrotto.

seconda di poi..ogni volta lo stesso pacchetto viene scaricato di nuovo,perchè??
Occupa del nuovo spazio o quello vecchio non c'è più?? |

Prima di riprovare:
Fai girare memtest86 per un pò.
Fai un controllo delle partizioni con badblocks.
Inizio a pensare che potresti avere qualche problema hardware

Intanto riprovo il bootstrap con il pacchetto scaricato dal ftp suggerito da FedeliAllaLinea....cavolo è durissima tornare a far parte dell'elite di chi usa Gentoo!!!

Seguito il consiglio di usare un pacchetto diverso usando wget ma questo è il risultato,inoltre ho eseguito badblocks,ma mi ha risposto tutto ok....

..che cavolo deve avere il mio os,perchè dice che forse ci sono problemi di hardware quando tutto va bene??!!
inoltre durante la compilazione continua a dare questo avviso

se non va neanche cosi' ti consiglio di partire dallo stage3 e una volta finita tutta l'installazione vai con un emerge -e world

Tu installi tutta la tua gentoo dallo stage3 una volta che parte il tutto dai un emerge -e world. Questo comando reinstalla tutti i pacchetti come se non fossero mai stati installati, e quindi si alla fine avrai un sistema ottimizzato come partendo dallo stage1.

Nel frattempo non mi sono dato per vinto e ho rifatto le partizioni da capo e inizializzato con
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/hdaxy bs=1K
le cose sono andate un pò diversamente ma poi si è fermata la compilazione quasi da ultimo con un

Hai provato quello che ti ha detto randomaze ovvero fare un memtest e usare badbolcks? Qua mi pare che tu abbia un problema hardware.

il precedente messaggio era incorretto.
La reinizializzazione è andata tutto ok.
Il badblocks è stato fatto ieri mattina trai primi messaggi di Randomize,e il messaggio di error pocosopra scritto era la fine della compilazione ultima con il bootstrap quasi ultimato,come si vede dal pacchetto /zlib-1.1.4.... che è il penultimo della compilazione,comunque adesso stò facendo l'installazione dallo stage 3,anche se non ho capito perchè ho avuto così tanti problemi.
Comunque grazie.
Volevo solo dire che partire da uno stage 1 non era un fatto velleitario legato ad un capriccio o una voglia di ottimizzazione estrema ma solo il modo di capire come agiva l'installazione di una distro da zero..che non ho mai avuto modo di fare con nessun'altra.
L'aspetto didattico sarà rimandato ad altra data...sigh.
p.s. scusate per gli erorri di scrittura e gli accenti ma il mio browser sul livecd e il dokeymap fa un pò come gli pare.

...behj adesso sono obbligato a scriervi da una postazione xp + gprs,purtroppo non ho capito come configurare la connect card ma questo è un altro problema,dopo pasqua riprovo tutto da capo,anche perchè non vedo 'ora di provare i nuovi pacchetti Xorg entice,entrance e vari evas-based,ieri avevo ripetuto tutto da capo,i badblocks non ci sono il mio hard disk è ok ma durante le compilazioni ho avuto un sacco di
nonostante avessi controllato con md5sum...boh,vedremo.
