|
|
I downloaded a tar from the net but when i got to unpack it I get this
# tar -xvjpf stage?-*.tar.bz2
tar (child) stage?-*.tar.bz2: Cannot open : No such file or directory
I tried putting in the actual tar name and came up with the same thing |

Where is the tarball located? If it's not in the current directory you have to give it a full directory path.
Code: |
root@xzvf ~ # ls -al |grep stage

the command is "ls -al | grep stage"
the root@xzvf ~ # is his prompt. |

No clue, I followed the instructions on the PPC online install to a T
Seems like they leave out a few key details
cd /mnt/gentoo
Then went to lynx and downloaded the tarbell. |
