the following error code is being produced, when I tried probing using tulip.o
No such device installed.
Hint: Insmod errors can be caused by incorrect bod paramters, including invalid IRQ or IO parameters.

Did you compile kernel support as a module or built-in? If its built-in to the kernel, it should auto-detect it. Otherwise you may have to put it in /etc/modules.autoload. I'm using a Kingston KNE100 with the DEC chip and it is auto-detected.
