This should go to a category called Kernel & Security
What are the advantages of using modules in your kernel instead of compiling them in, when using a server with a strict hadver-configuration?
A disadvantage can be: if your system gets hacked, the haxor can play with your modules - replace them with his modified ones, etc - which might not be the best way to go. 
What do you guys think about this?
