Hallo,
hat jmd von euch schon mal die cisco aironet 350 pcmcia karte zum laufen gebracht? mit monitor mode (rfmon)? kismet sollte diese karte ja angeblich untersützen hatte jedoch mit folgenden kernel-varianten probleme:
kernel-2.4.19 (compilation funktioniert nicht mehr -> gcc3)
kernel-2.4.25 + pcmcia-cs
kernel-2.4.25
kernel-2.4.25 + airo-linux cvs
kernel-2.6.4
Läuft bei euch die karte im rfmon-modus? Mit welcher Konfiguration?

Hi pi-cubiq!
den Thread hab ich auch schon gelesen und deine Antwort. Der folgende Eintrag in meiner kismet.conf wirft jedoch folgende Fehlermeldung hervor:
Eintrag:
source=cisco_wifi1,eth1:wifi0,ciscosource
Meldung:
Will drop privs to kismet (1001)
No enable sources specified, all sources will be enabled.
FATAL: Source 0 (ciscosource): Unknown card type 'cisco_wifi1'
Die gleiche Meldung kommt auch wenn ich "cisco_wifi0" anstelle von "cisco_wifi1" benutze.

PS: Ich benutze die selber Karte, habs eben im vorherigen Feld geändert. Cisco 350 Series PC Card w/Dual MMCX Con (AIR-LMC352) |

da hat sich bei dir ja auch ein typo eingeschlichen, so kann es gar nicht funktionieren! versuch mal die 1 nach dem cisco_wifi durch ein x zu ersetzen
