help please! i am a first time user, i installed a stage 3 gentoo athlon-xp install, with the gentoo 2.6.3 dev kernel, it all works gret except that everytime it boots it will say failed to bring eth0 it also says that it didnt start the 'netmount' service. my ethernet card is a 3com 3c905c-tx adapter, have the 3c59x modules run by defualt which should be compatible with the card, but to no avail have i been able to get eth0 working. i emerged xfree off of the packages cd but gnome and kde wont work. any help is appreciated, thanks in advance![/i] |
