Ciao a tutti, scusate, sono ronato con la solita domanda stupida... quando avvio mplayer mi dà questo errore:

purtroppo non riesco a trovare soluzione, ho guardato anche altri topic riguardo a mplayer, ma nn sono riuscito a risolvere.

Ma mplayer sopporta quel tipo di file? Se si, prova ad aprire mplayer con

Ho provato ad avviare mplayer senza argomenti ed il risultato è questo:

Crea un link /dev/dvd che punti al device del dvd, ad esempio:

$ ls -l /dev/dvd
lr-xr-xr-x    1 root     root           18 Apr 12  2004 /dev/dvd -> /dev/cdroms/cdrom0


e usa

$ mplayer dvd://


Ah, ovviamente mplayer deve essere stato compilato con +dvd nelle USE.

Perfetto, grazie mille ora funziona perfettamente, ultima cosa quando si apre non ci sono anche dei controlli, tipo menu, capitoli, volume, velocità, ecc...

Intendi un'interfaccia comoda? Se si devi ricompilarlo con la USE flag "gtk", se ne sta discutendo in uno degli ultimi topic di questo forum. Quindi avvii con gmplayer anzichè mplayer. Altrimenti se lo usi da linea di comando ci sono i vari tasti per regolarlo, tipo "9" e "0" per abbassare/alzare il volumene, tasti freccia per andare avanti e indietro con il film e così via.
