I start to compilate the kernel 2.6.5 and after a few minutes i get this message:

Quote:

···
INSTALL net/ipv4/netfilter/iptable_nat.ko
INSTALL fs/nls/nls_utf8.ko
INSTALL net/xfrm/xfrm_user.ko
INSTALL lib/zlib_deflate/zlib_deflate.ko
INSTALL lib/zlib_inflate/zlib_inflate.ko
if [ -r System.map ]; then /sbin/depmod -ae -F System.map 2.6.5; fi

I tried to find something similar in the forrum and google, but i cant find that, so is there any one who can help me, i will be very happy.

thanks.

That looks normal so far. You should have a file in the directory called "vmlinux" or maybe "bzImage". Just copy that file to your /boot directory and update your bootloader information.

That's no error message, but your kernel is compiled and ready to use :P
