My prob is, I took over a network of several windoze boxes running w95 to w2k. For security reasons I migrated (not only) the file server to gentoo. The windoze clients are dumb enough for this, but if I mount some samba share or a nfs export from my (gentoo -) workstation, I have this weird problem with international charsets (german umlauts and such stuff in filenames )
Has anyone a hint for me, how to fix this? |
