I get this in dmesg.
Code: | eth0: network connection up using port A
speed: 10
autonegotiation: yes
duplex mode: half
flowctrl: none
irq moderation: disabled
scatter-gather: enabled
|
The autonegotiation is failing to detect my network correctly. Because it is
perfectly capable of 10Mbit fullDuplex.
This is really killing my home lan.
How can I change this to full?
I have rean sk98lin.txt but it only seems to suggest how to do this if the driver is built as a module. Which I tried but could not get the net up.
It only seems to work if I build it straight into the kernel. (linux-2.6.5-bk1).
any Ideas?
How could I add the sk98lin AutoNeg_A=Off DupCap_A=Full to my grub.conf? |

Sorry this may not have been my problem.
Found weak link. (Wifes windows machine)
smart ftp seems to screw up. A reinstall fixed my transfer rate.
It would still be nice to know how to change half to full or at least hear somebodies opinion. |
