|
|
I recently installed Fbpager and it autoloads fine since I put it in my startup file. My question is. is there a way to not show the Fbpager on my toolbar? Basically be able to run the pager without it being on my toolbar. Thanks |

Yeah, there is a way.
You have to install fluxbox cvs version though.
A "hide specific app feature" and support for the _NET_WM_STATE_SKIP_TASKBAR state was put in shortly after the 0.9.8 release. |

I think that running fbpager -w will put it into withdrawn mode in the slit and then it won't show up in the menubar. _________________ Pointless screenshots

devilspie is a great program that allows you to hide programs from toolbar, among other things

read the readme files in /usr/share/doc/devils.......

There should be a problem with using devilspie for fluxbox versions below 0.9.9
Devilspies hide from taskbar mode sets the _NET_WM_STATE_SKIP_TASKBAR state for programms that don't do this in the first place.
But fluxbox versions below 0.9.9 don't interpret that state flag. |
