I have two IDE drives (a CD-RW (IDE channel 2, master) and a CD drive (IDE channel 2, slave).
I would like to copy on the fly from the cd drive to the cd-rw drive, but the software doesn't seem to let me do this. I have tried several packages (currently playing with k3b) but they seem to do the same thing. When I am given the option to select the source drive for copying from a drop down box, only the cd-rw is on the list. If I go into k3b settings, my cd-rom drive is listed and configured. I have given myself permissions to the devices (even gave chmod 777 just to make sure).
Has anyone else had a similar problem, or am I missing something?
Devices:
burner: /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/generic
cd-rom: /dev/ide/host0/bus1/target1/lun0/cd
I don't need to use the ide-scsi module for my cd-rom drive too do I?
