I've just noticed quite strange behavior of nvidia driver (4496). I recently upgraded xfree to xorg-x11 (works perfectly ;) ) and after the first reboot I runned quake3 and got about 5-7% performance boost, BUT only for the first time... the second run of quake or glxgears gives me the same score as before with with xfree???!!! Has somebody else about the same expirienses???
