Heya....

My mailsetup is as follows: Postfix is used for outgoing mail (but configured according to the desktop guide for incoming as well). I use fetchmail to collect mail from my ISP(s), run locally for each user (at the moment just me :wink: ). This mail is routed through the .forward/.procmailrc setup recommended by SpamAssassin for removing spam (and it works :-); however, my problem is as follows...: I've configured postfix to use the .maildir option - but the mail is just dumped into ~/.maildir/, not ~/.maildir/new/, which I thought it would be... (and the mailticker in f.ex. gkrellm expects it to be, to follow the normal "rules" for .maildir/ setup.

Any suggestions how to correct this behavior ?

I don't know if it's the best solution, but I added this to my ~/.procmailrc :
Code:
DEFAULT=$HOME/.maildir/new

(you cant use "~" in place of "$HOME")

This seems to work; placed at the end of .procmailrc. As long as mail is still catched by SpamAssassin (which it seems to be... :D ), I'm happy.
