|
|
Hello,
Everytime I start my Gentoo, I get a warning stating that my kernel has not been compiled with DEVFS support, and Gentoo prefers DEVFS. After 15 seconds or on keypressed, the system continues booting.
So, do I really need to recompile my kernel, which is 2.6.4, with DEVFS? Or can I just make the warning disappear?
Thanks a lot... _________________ Ducky |

I have emerged udev, and it seems to be working OK. However, I still get this warning every time I boot up. Any ideas? Thanks. |
