Hi Folks,
i've got this error when compiling kernel 2.6.5 and 2.6.5-r1 with acpi support so that I can throttle down my cpu freq. This is what genkernel tells me:
Code: |

Has anyone solved this error?

Why don't you send in a bug-report? We are not that many using amd64 (yet ) so you should not assume that some one else has (and thus the developers may not know about it). A solid kernel seem to be gentoo-2.6.3-r2, but there are people using 2.6.4 and 2.6.5 too, with different configurations. _________________ Always make it as simple as possible, but no simpler
