Hi, ive been installing gentoo for a while and its throwing up the same error when i try to emerge kde or fluxbox.

i think thats the error, and before it throws me back to the console it tells me

the same thing happens when i get to the arts part of the kde install, only fluxbox is replaced with arts-1.2.1 obviously.
can anyone help me? ive searched hte forums and couldnt find a resolution to the problem and i have a java assessment in 5 days and need to practice for it. thanks[/code]
edit: oh i tried to re-emerge freetype and it didnt help |

| its been reaolved, i emerged fontconfig and it seems to have done the trick |
