| I just pulled out one of my old MP3 collections on CD, to get some songs off of it, only to discover that I can not get more than the first ~1.5 Megs of any file off of it. The CD works fine in windows. Anyone have any suggestions about what I might do to solve this strange problem? |

What are you using to play them? And do you copy them to the HDD or play them right off the CD?

(I'm the guest. Forgot to log in earlier.)
I've tried using the XMMS to play them from the CD, but when I try and copy them to the hard drive, it can only get the first ~1.5 megs of each file.
In XMMS, when playing from the CD, and it reaches that point in the file, it just locks up for a minute, then loops back to the beginning.  |
