I just pulled out one of my old MP3 collections on CD, to get some songs off of it, only to discover that I can not get more than the first ~1.5 Megs of any file off of it. The CD works fine in windows. Anyone have any suggestions about what I might do to solve this strange problem? |

What are you using to play them? And do you copy them to the HDD or play them right off the CD? _________________ Gentoo and Doom III. 'Nuff Said.

(I'm the guest. Forgot to log in earlier.)
I've tried using the XMMS to play them from the CD, but when I try and copy them to the hard drive, it can only get the first ~1.5 megs of each file.
In XMMS, when playing from the CD, and it reaches that point in the file, it just locks up for a minute, then loops back to the beginning. |
