At least not until a new version is released.
I was running 2.6.5-gentoo-r1 and my machine was slow as molasses. Whenever I had something compiling, the mous seemed to stutter across the screen and generally performance was horrible. Not anymore! After installing the latest mm-sources my system is smooth and fast as it should be!

Running the 2.6.5-love5 kernel here, and loving it. I think I'll try the next 2.6.6 love release when it comes out, seems like the first one is a bit buggered. _________________ #define NULL rand() /*heh heh heh */

amd64 yes? it's in the forum I know, just there's been a few stray posts before
I must admit it has been like molasses for me too ... always had used love sources, great, but not sure if they work on amd64, they didn't a couple of months ago .. will have to try mm-sources again, with the bcm5700 patch. _________________ Tyan Tiger K8W, 2xOpteron 240,Powerbook5,6 15" 1.5g, Macbook Black 2g, Mac Mini 1g, Ipod P60g.

Emerging now ... it must be better than the dev-sources, although I'm really not sure why I'm getting this molasses feel ...
edit: definately better. Have the bcm5700 working on the tigon3 driver ... only thing now is the scsi has gone a bit screwed? not sure why yet ... _________________ Tyan Tiger K8W, 2xOpteron 240,Powerbook5,6 15" 1.5g, Macbook Black 2g, Mac Mini 1g, Ipod P60g.
