ciao.
qualcuno sa darmi qualche dritta per fare andare il "click" del touchpad del mio laptop?
mi spiego: i due pulsanti mi vanno..il tappetino mi va..però nn funziona il click sul tappetino con il colpetto del dito..spero abbiate capito..!

se e' un synaptics, fai un emerge -s synaptics e vai sul sito che trovi nella descrizione dell'ebuild. li trovi il pacchetto da scaricare+
compilare e il file INSTALL che spiega come far andare il tutto.

ADDENDUM: dmesg | grep ynaptics dovrebbe dirti se hai effettivamente una di quelle bestiacce

Se il touchpad non è un synaptics: che protocollo hai specificato nel file di configurazione di X?

ok domani quando il sole sorgerà guarderò l'how-to! grazie MyZelf.
il protocollo per X specificato è PS/2: con questo va un mouse esterno (nn usb) e parzialmente il touchpad..quello che nn va è appunto il clic sul tappetino.

Allora potresti provare anche a specificando un protocollo diverso (es. imps/2, comunque se è un synaptics ti conviene usare il driver apposito che abilita anche altre utili features.

Riporto la mia esperienza con un toshiba ed un acer con i quali ho trovato subito il tocco funzionante senza nessun prob usando gpm e imps/2 come protocollo, impostando il ripetitore del gpm, ripetitore usato poi da X.
