how do you configure the sound?

i cant manage to get any sound on my gentoo linux.. dont really know how to configure it..
i got a integrated soundcard on my motherboard...
any tips on how to do?

The alsa guide is an excellent resource for setting up your soundcard. You will have to figure out what the soundcard is, even if it is onboard, and install the appropriate driver (which is detailed in the guide).
