Hey,
I have a stick of 512MB ram, I used it for over a month in linux and it seemed ok. But a little while back I installed windows on a second partition and had all sorts of problems. Mainly stability problems. I found it was due to this piece of ram. So my question is, do you think its a good idea to keep using it in linux? Will it be likely to cause problems?
Also, I'm installing the latest love sources that contains a "Bad ram" patch. If I do have bad ram would this make sure that there are issues with it? |

Check out that site on how to use the bad ram patch. There are a few things you need to pass on the kernel line for it to work. _________________ Rationality is the recognition of the fact that nothing can alter the truth and nothing can take precedence over that act of perceiving it. |

Run memtest86 on the machine for a few hours, that will tell you if you'll have troubles or not. _________________ Currently playing with Applescript ... hmmm |
