re bon beh voilà encore un qui n'arrive pas a activer l'udma sur son DD et son Cdrom !
j'ai pourtant lu pas mal de poste la dessus il me semble avoir compilé le noyau avec les bonnes options (bien que ma carte mère me reste inconnu ainsi que le chipset d'ailleurs) j'utilise un portable Compaq nx9000 équipé en P4M
voilà ce que me retourne hdparm :

Heu, il est où le problème ? hda est déjà en udma 100 (udma5)
Et avec un hdparm -d1 -Xudma5, ça fait aussi l'erreur ?
Pour avoir une idée du chipset, tu peux faire (en tant que root) :

oui c'est en effet très bizard mais non je ne ss pas en udma !!

Que donne : hdparm -tT /dev/hda ? D'après hdparm -i /dev/hda, l'udma est activé (sans doute par défaut au démarrage)

trop bien ca y est ca fonctionne ! j'ai juste cocher le ALI 15 ki ne correspnd pourtant pas mais bon cela fonctionne c'est le principal merci bcp un fois de plus !!!
