I noticed that when I run my computer in 64 bit mode it runs 2 C lower than in 32 bit mode.43.. If the sensors are correct this would indicate that you are going to run cooler in 64 bit mode. Cooler CPU means an extended life expectation of the CPU. The fan was also turning at 1000 mpm slower in 64 bit mode this should help you CPU fan live a bit longer as well. It also should keep your case a bit cooler. (But not by much)

Just one more reason to be running in 64 bit mode.

I really dont think that 1000 rpm differrence is real this leads me to believe that the sensors are screwy.
Mine runs same temp and same fan speed in 32 and 64bit modes.
