proftpd restrict users to sql home directory [fixed]

Does anyone have an idea how to limit proftpd users to their home directory stored in a SQL database? I have tried DefaultRoot ~ but that does not apply to SQL users...

Ah, DefaultRoot ~ does work.

Something else was awry in my configuration.
