aMule Server List is Nuts!

Hey guys,

I have been desperately trying to figure out how to download all of my porn!! (JK

)

Anyways, just turned to aMule for that solution, so I emerged amule and to my surprise I cannot download a server list. It says that the connection times out for every single server it tries.

I don't know really how to work the preferences list (if that is something I need to fix) and the docs are almost non-existant. Am I doing something wrong? Or is there another way to obtain a server list?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ok, first off, which version are you using? I know that portage has 1.1.0 as stable, but you should use at least 1.2.6 IMHO (or even 2.0.0-rc2, which isn't in Portage). If that doesn't work, simply google for server.met and save the file you find in your amule directory (~/.aMule/).
