NFS and Server

hi,

i have a nfs server, which has more than one client. the other clients havent got any troubles, but my gentoo machine have problems. when i copying a file to the nfs server the upload brake up after a few seconds. with the music, which i play from the server i havent got problems. if i shut down my computer then, it freezes at unmounting filesystems ... but the switch shows datatransfer.
there were some threads but there wasnt an answer. i hope you can help me here. is it usefull, if i send my kernelconfig ?

now i compiled v3 and v4 in the kernel and all works fine. but there are many brakes in the copyprocess in which i cant reach the other machine with konqueror

Have you installed and started portmap on all machines?

edit: portmap already started. what else can i do ?
the upload freezes and then it goes on. but after 5 times this process freezes fully.

Do you have an ether express network card?

yes i have the nforce 2 onboard card. with the forcedeth driver.

portmap is on at every machine. when i copy the pc is reading out the files from my hard disk and the progress bar get up fast. then theres a break where nothing happens. then the progress bar will continue with reading from my harddisk. but how i described 2 posts before, this works 4 or 5 times but then the copy progress dies.
