1280x800 console framebuffer

Hey Guys,

I finially got x working with 1280x800 res (Oh Yeah!) now im on the hunt to see if i can't get my console frame buffer to work in my native resolution aswell. Does anyone know if this is possible or not?

I got a laptop with the same resolution, and the framebuffer just worked by default.

You can take a look at fbset (man fbset)... I don't have an fb.modes file, but this is what fbset --show shows:
