hi there, i found with dmesg that my idebus is working at 33mhz, when it should be at 100 or 133. (dont remember which one now) How do i change it? in dmesg says something about passing the pàrameter "idebus=xx" to the kernel, but, doesnt work for me..

No, it shouldn't.
You may be confusing the IDE transfer rate with the actual speed of the bus.
The IDE bus speed is the same as the PCI bus - 33MHz.
Since PCI is a 4-bytes wide bus, this gives you a maximum transfer rate of 133 MBytes per second.

Then your IDE chipset doesn't support that mode.
But how have you validated this ?
