I'm setting up a small lab of computers that will be shared by several children. I'm standardizing on KDE. To prevent "hogging" of computers, I'd like to be able to limit a login session to, say, an hour, with the user prompted to logout, or even forcibly logged out, at the end of that hour.

I've figured out how to restrict what time of day a user can login, but cannot find a way to kick them off after a period of time.

Any suggestions?

Maybe a crontab that would run each minute and look for which users have been connected for more that an hour?
