well almost ..
first i am using a 2.4.2x Kernel, Alsa drivers load without any error
my TV Tuner Card (BT878) wich is connected through a external Loop cable to the line-in of my opl3-sa2 sound card works fine, i can adjust volume wirh alsamixer etc.
but thats it .. any other way i try to play sound fails .. no error messages, just no sound
xmms for examples just doesn't start to play .. some tries as root with esdcat produced an "device busy" thats the only thing near to an error message i had so far .. |

yes i think so ..
rebuilding kernel with no sound module other than "support for sound"
rebuilding alsa-driver
rebuilding some more alsa packages
still no sound beside that from my TV-Tuner-card |
