I'm turning in round. While I'm still trouble shooting, if someone could tell me why my USB controler does not get any IRQ assigned?
Quote: | Bus 0, device 7, function 2:
USB Controller: Intel Corp. 82371AB/EB/MB PIIX4 USB (rev 1).
Master Capable. Latency=32.
I/O at 0x6300 [0x631f].

The dmesg output Quote: | uhci.c: USB Universal Host Controller Interface driver v1.1
PCI: No IRQ known for interrupt pin D of device 00:07.2.
uhci.c: found UHCI device with no IRQ assigned. check BIOS settings!

But usb IS enabled in the bios. I tried adding pci=biosirq as a parameter to the kernel (a previous dmesg hint me to try that). _________________ (7 of 9) Installing star-trek/species-8.4.7.2::talax. |

3 hours of labors. I decide to seek help here and BINGO! Bios has an open "Release IRQ" set to "yes". At "no", the controler get an irq asigned.
Sorry for wasting a couple of records in the forum's database. _________________ (7 of 9) Installing star-trek/species-8.4.7.2::talax. |
