Cube just starts fine for me, but as soon as I try to run the single player my entire laptop crashes. Screen freeze and that's it.
Any Clue?

hmm, cube runs perfectly...
which kernel do u have??
and there wasnt no error message??
alsa??
which laptop do u have?? (hardware, software)
does q3 run (or something else)?
try to "reinstall" it..

My Cube crashes with 2.6.11-nitro4. Everything else works fine except that Cube will completely freeze the system after a bit of mousing.
Toshiba m35x-s111
2.6.11-nitro4
1024mb system ram
Cube runs great with every other kernel I have (vanilla 2.6.11, gentoo-sources-2.6.11-rc3(and rc5), love-sources-2.6.12-rc2-love1).
