switch2 only changes colors and fonts

"Switch2" only changes the colors and fonts. The appearance/widgets stays the same. Any pointers? It used to work a while ago, but I think it stopped working after I upgraded something (maybe kde). Thanks.

In most cases it doesn't work because you don't have billions of various gtk engines. Check emerge -s gtk-engine. It should give you a rather long list.
