My USB Palm m515 hot-syncs perfectly via gnome-pilot. Unfortunately, gpilotd seems to conflict with my USB keyboard, causing it to drop a character every 2 seconds or so while I am typing.

The keyboard is not even on the same USB bus as the Palm cradle. Unplugging the web cam and unloading the ov511 kernel modules changes nothing.

To date I have just killed gpilotd after hotsyncing, but this is stupid. It's so close to working perfectly. Does anyone have any idea why this would be happening, and how I can fix it?
