Hey
Im trying to install gentoo, and I as far as doing a bootstrapping (#scripts/bootstrap.sh)
But I have a proxy problem!
Its a Microsoft ISA server, where we have user//pass to access the internet!
I have tried to do
#export HTTP_proxy=http://user:pass@proxy.isa:8080
#export FTP_proxy=ftp://user:pass@proxy.isa:8080
But when i tries to fetch the files, it stoppes..
From the http archives it gives me:
407 Proxy Authentication Required ( The ISA Server requires authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web Proxy service is denied. )
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
From the ftp archices it gives me:
connection to (ip from the proxy server)... connected
Loggin in as anonymous
Error in server response, closing control connection.
giving up.
Is there anyway, to get the gentoo machine on the net at the installation???? _________________ Geek By Nature | Linux By Choise |
