Vodaphone told me, that it is DEFINETELY impossible to use this PCMCIA card under Linux.

vodafone is just trying to cover its support department. if they say that it can work with linux at all then they have to tell you how, if they tell you it does not work then they can ignore the subject of supporting it. it is just a matter of developing dirvers for it. vodafone is mostlikly not going to develop a linux driver but if you have any understanding of dfiver development you could try to hack it or maybe you can use a wrapper like ndiswrapper to get it working. anything is possable wilth linux.
