Is there any way to block worm probes (in apache)

I'm getting hit every 5 - 10 mins and its just annoying me beyond belief

[Tue May 4 14:35:29 2004] [error] [client 203.217.242.61] request failed: URI too long
[Tue May 4 14:41:28 2004] [error] [client 221.115.115.204] request failed: URI too long
[Tue May 4 14:46:56 2004] [error] [client 165.29.23.4] request failed: URI too long
[Tue May 4 15:06:01 2004] [error] [client 67.71.53.95] request failed: URI too long


What would be a good way to get rid of all those? Also does anyone know what worm is making all this traffic?

It's not coming from the same IP, is it? You could block it with IPTables...
