Take a look at the Lila-Theme thread in this forum, thats how I think gnome (or kde, xfce) should look. _________________ "You've got to listen to me. I would recommend trying the milk 2.0 theme (or one of the industrial based themes) _________________ In "old" Europe we already have a word for "pre-emptive strikes" mr Bush: its called "war" |

Edit: Try http://waha.nce.buttobi.net/contrib/ss.html
This is gnome 2.6 with the Wasp controls, gnome 2.4's Esco window borders (they changed in 2.6 and became ugly IMO so I backed up the old ones), and the Crystal icon theme.

Here you are:
gnome a
You can see nautilus spatial with two different views.
gnome b
Icons theme is Nuvola. Metacity theme is AluminumAlloy-Mcity-Flat (if I'm not wrong you should find them here).
Gtk2 theme is GTk"-Crystal-SVG.
And the girl is Yamila Diaz but I guess she's not part of the gnome project.
If the urls don't work just copy and past them (due to provider external urls policy). _________________ vificunero@jabber.org |

It looks like all my screenshots that I've taken in the last six months were using GNOME.
Latest one is using the Lila metatheme Frink was talking about. |
