Hi all,
I'm using nfs to mount my home dirs and everything worked fine. For somereason X crashed, I rebooted, and then NFS started to be unable to mountdirs since it gets permission denied.
Any idea why this is happening?
Is there a way to get more information from the server on why I can't mount the partitions from the server?
I've tried the v flag in mount but I just get the same answer, permission denied from server.

can you ssh on your server and get into the home dir's? if you use TCP with nfs and your machine crashes, you will need to reboot the server as well. tcp is still experimental and does alot of nasty things, i guess. i'm not sure if it can happen, if you don't use tcp, but rebooting the server might be a good idea.
please post your /etc/fstab and /etc/exports. _________________ If you fall off a cliff, you might as well try to fly. After all, you got nothing to lose.
