Gentoo is not responding well to my ethernet card. I found somewhere that this card is compatible with ne2000/ne1000, so i added that support in my kernel, but i still get zero internet.
I also tried the 2004.1 LiveCD and ran but all i got was a bunch of failed errors.
Anybody know the problem? _________________ Play me online, well ya know that I'll beat you. If I ever meet you, I'll CRTL-ALT-DEL you!!!

I'm currently downloading the 2004.0 universal cd. Hopefully, it will auto detect and then i can copy my configuration to my hard disk. _________________ Play me online, well ya know that I'll beat you. If I ever meet you, I'll CRTL-ALT-DEL you!!!

There is some problem with the 2004.1 installer, that it wont detect network cards. Its allready been reported...

Although you should be able to do a modprobe...
Are you sure, that is the right module you are trying to load ? _________________ Geek By Nature | Linux By Choise |
