Hi All,

I am trying to use XQF in order to get a list of ET servers to join. This had worked for me fine in the past, but now it is stopping after refreshing a handful of game servers. It seems to stop at a different number of servers each time, and never seems to make it over 10% of all available servers. I am using a game id of 83, and the rest of the config looks sane.

I can run qstat by hand, and it looks like it is returning all the data that XQF should need.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

TIA

I can't say that I have run into this issue at all. Have you tried looking at the XQF bug page ?

I know XQF isn't a high volume site, but you never know it may be answered there.

Thanks for the response. I have been looking through their bug database, mail list archive, and faqs. I guess this is a great excuse to go join the mailing list =).

Thanks

I have the same problem, however I'm pretty sure that it's not really xqf's fault.

When I refresh or update the serverlist, xqf stalls but I also get several
"kernel: ip_conntrack: table full, dropping packet." in the system logs.

I tried raising the maximum number of connections tracked (to 33000), I tried making xqf refresh less servers at a time (10, default is 20), and I still get the problem, although I'm only trying to refresh ~ 2500 servers.

Suggestions welcome.

For example, can connection tracking be disabled for udp packets toward ports 27960:28000?

Hello,

Recently I have had XQF working just fine, fully refreshing _all_ servers. The only thing I changed was one configuration setting. It seems unlikely that this would really fix the problem, but for whatever reason, mine seems to work now.

All I did was go into Preferences / Appearance, and then makke sure that "Sort servers real-time during refresh" is checked. After that, it would actually update all servers.

If you are lucky, that will work for you too =D.

I had it already checked :?
I think it's enabled by default.

I'll try without :) However I still think it's related to connection tracking and not xqf / qstat.
