|
Having some problems getting connected to the Internet in my Stage1 install. I am using a NForce2 NIC. I am booting from the minimal cd and running 'net-setup eth0' and setting all the values to know working values, but I cannot ping anything besides localhost. Ifconfig returns all the right values that I enterted from net-setup. We are using a Belkin router that is hooked up to the DSL modem. I have a feeling that the problem is because I am not using the right NIC driver. How do I go about getting the right driver? |

If not: search the forums, I've seen more threads lately about networking and nforce2. _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. Help answer the unanswered
