|
|
I've been trying to set up and ftp for a couple days now and I finally asked a friend for help (or he got sick of me complaining that i couldnt get it to work) and it sort of runs except that I can't get the users to have access to files that they need to have access to. So I figured chmod would be the best option however it's not changing any permissions. I run it and it doesnt give any errors but it doesnt do anything either. Any help or a way to let users access folders would be greatly appreciated. |

I sorta figured it out. The file was the mountpoint for an external fat32 drive so it doesn't have the unix file permissions to change. |
