Hi @all,
i try to get my Prism54 card (Proxim 11b/g Gold - alias Atheros) working with airsnort. I'm current using Kernel 2.6.4-gentoo-r1 with working driver for this card. Kismet also works fine, but airsnort doesn't find the card. How can i tell airsnort to use the interface ath0 instead of eth0 and use the Prism54 kernel driver?

Try setting the card to monitor mode manually:
| Code: | | # iwconfig ath0 mode monitor |
Then start up airsnort as root. Change the card to 'ath0' from 'eth0' and select the card type as 'other'. This works with my prism based card. |
