Dell inspiron 8100 network card & DI-604 problem

Hello, i've just got a Dell inpiron 8100 from the scholl and got a big problem !! When i plug it in my D-link DI-604 Router the green led on both Router and network card goes on and goes out every 3 or 4 second. I was thinking ; maybe its my cable. Nop , try 4 cable.....but when i plug it directly to my cable modem .. it work perfectly. I also try it on a Linksys router and no problem at all... so if someone got a idea of what the problem is...or could be .... it woul dbe very nice !!!! Thanks a lot !!!
