Hi, wenn ich den normalen nvidia-kernel emerge klappt xfree nicht mehr, also benutze ich den atuellen von nvidia.com. Problem: Ich will nvidia-glx emergen, aber nvidia-glx-1.0.5336-r2, weil die da drunter auch nicht zu funktionieren scheinen. Jetzt möchte ich wissen, wie ich ausschließen kann, dass dabei der nvidia-kernel neu gemerged wird.

Wenn Du einen 2.6.6-rc, 2.6.6-mm order 2.6.6-love Kernel benutzt, solltest Du Dir mal diesen Bugzilla report ansehen - vielleicht kriegst Du nvidia-kernel wieder hin.
